band camp was fun but not as fun as last year's.i want BBQ :D.Anyway i think our band has achieved alot from this camp.we had gained the most important thing-CONFIDENCE..the value i have been stressing on since i took on leadership roles .how am i supposed to lead when i am not confident of myself.i agree with mr tan even if we had a good sound but lacked confidence, all our efforts would go down the drain.
FIRST DAY
we assembled at school at 8 as usual there were late comers.i wasn't late:D:D:D but i was sweating like a pig when i reached the band room .so paiseh the seniors sitting at the bench outside the band room was asking why i was sweating so much...hehe....dunno why when i see charmaine both of us have to run after bus...so here i was walking behind her then i looked opposite the road ...ahhhhh..the bus we were about to miss it so i was shouting at charmaine so that we would not miss the bus .then the passer-bys were staring at me.aaahhh so paiseh again...so i was running with my cornet case+camping bag+shoe bag...i(i going overseas or wat carry so many barang barang)so envious of charmaine running so si wen with her esprit bag and clarinet..okay so we did our warm-ups then sir came...followed by hsi wen and silvia so sweet of them to come<3<3<3 then we left for st.margerets their band room was suppeeerr big + their school hall was air-conditioned so cool.their band sounded so much louder than us .mr tan said that he could not tell the difference when we played the B flat chord...150 of us good sound woots.if the best from both of the schools get into SYF we would surely get GOLD WITH HONOURS ..their cornet section had 6 sec 4s and 2 sec 3s so obviously they sounded much better and louder than us but i think we were good considering the fact that we had 3 sec 2s and 2 sec 3s and 1 sec 4 .the st marg's cornet section so sweet they got us cookies from Australia but we did not give them anything alamak!!
SECOND DAY
we woke at 6.30.set out to commonwealth sec for our exchange with 9 other schools ..we played quite okay .we sounded very soft ...haiz...then we headed back to sch had practice from 7 to 9 ...then.. ... ... competition time ...i was dancing disco with Xin Hui ..first we did our cha-cha then sme obiang movements and mr tan was looking at us ...shit! we came in 2nd ..woots
THIRD DAY
had practice till 12 noon then break camp...we felt very accomplished coz we had improved tremendously since day 1.break camp..took a cab with mellisa,linda and eliza we talking like xiaow!!eliza,my dear fren of 9 years actually forgot my burfday!!!qi xi wo ..we were stuffing ourselves with jelly beans ..i offered one to the cabby but he didn't want-.- .i told him to stop me opp the dustbin which he did but he almost drove off when i was to take my things from the boot~.~ ~.~``~.~```i went home and asked my mum if she missed me and she said NO ,the house was much quieter...wah..mummy how could u say that:(
P.S(phoebe yeo i dun like benjamin bong even though he is your cousin how could u ever tell him!!!lissa has this big and humongous crush on him she has trying to find out more about him esp during chinese class)
